Mützenfabrik Bauer and its brand names kidcap, Ökoline, ICE and 4Teen stand for good service and quality fashion at attractive prices.
As early as in 1947, in the early post-war years, Hans Bauer independently made new start in hat repairs and the production of caps. Because of increasing demand, in 1955, he built another production plant, which was expanded again in 1965, in order to cope with the production of hats and caps for men.
When his son Herbert Bauer joined the company, the production program was extended to female fashion and sometime later to the baby and children cap segment. With around 60 employees, some of whom were home workers, the numerous models were produced in Bürstadt, a town in southern Hesse.
At the end of the 1980s, Peter Bauer, the third generation, joined the company's management. Due to his initiative, the production program was extended by a purely ecological cap program under the trade name Ökoline.
These caps, scarves and gloves follow the latest fashion trends. They predominantly use European materials, which, apart from a high processing quality, also guarantees product standards such as ÖkoTex 100, without using harmful azoic dyes.
For babies and infants, there is the kidcap collection. In the summer, it will be supplemented by the 4Teen articles for kids and teenagers as well as dresses for girls. Both collections also have additional models made of tested UV-protected materials.
In winter, a sporty ICE collection for cool kids and teens rounds off the KIDCAP collection for babies and infants. All our brands contain quality features for end users.
The design of our models is of course "Made in Germany". In order to be able to ensure a good marketing service, our products are manufactured in our own subsidiary in Lithuania, but in part in Germany as well.
Without our unique kidcap, Ökoline, ICE and 4Teen products, we would like to be a strong and experienced partner in the children's clothing market, and distinguish ourselves through service, quality, fashion design and an excellent price performance ratio.
